Well, I use a dual-boot system, but all my hardware is configured manually.
IMHO PnP OS enabled in the BIOS will only cause you problems, even in 
Window$ - sometimes Windows decides for itself that your soundcard or your 
modem, or videocard will use a different IRQ/DMA and something will go wrong.
My advice: set all the jumpers, see which IRQs are free in advance - and 
you will avoid trouble.
I sometimes like to use Do$ (emulators, oldgames), and I always configure 
my Do$ drivers for soundcard.
And of course, it will be much better knowing in advance which is installed 
where, so running Linux would be much easier.
