As to what the differencys are i cant say as i have not read the doc's yet,
i have installed 6.2 but have not gotten time to see whats new or beter
than 6.1.

I would imagen judging by the way you pharse your auestion that an upgade
is more suited for you, as an upgrade saves all configuration files, + it
does not do anything to the users directorys, so an upgrade will save you a
lot of time.
