That is my problem. I know how that command works. And I
used it. But that way I just make less act like tail.

Yea. I see nobody has need for this feature. No problem.
Everything is fine. But let me quote that man page Richard keeps
talking about:
R Repaint the screen, discarding any buffered input
Useful if the file is changing while it is being viewed.
Read again the last line. Would someone on the list come
forward and tell me that a file that was zero lenght and now has some
contents didn't changed?
