I am learning to drive my new Linux system.
I know how to log on as an ordinary user, and then how to promote myself
to superuser (su).
My question is, how do I then give up such elevated privileges and
revert to my original lowly status as an ordinary user ?
I consider this to be an important precaution only to be superuser when
absolutely necessary.
