How does one use the update sites? For instance, I am running bind on a server. I downloaded the source code and build it on my machine. I have the latest version bind-8.2.2-P5. On the update sites (including RedHat's), there is a bind rpm: bind-8.2.2_P3-1.src.rpm. This is an older version. So, my question is, should I use the 'update' or is the latest version the most secure? I am confused! thanks David - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-newbie" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Please read the FAQ at http://www.linux-learn.org/faqs
