Friends, I am running KDE and love it. However, I hate the concept of multiple desktops. So I tried to use only a single desktop but in the configuration, I can only choose a minimum of two desktops. Is there any way I can set up a single desktop? Also, I noticed that some applications are too big to fit into on the screen. I cannot resize the application window. I am using a decent resolution (800x600). When I run it in GNOME, I have the same problem. Any ideas? Some of the application windows can be resized but the application cannot remember its resized state and I have to manually set it up again. Is there any way to force the desktop manager to remember the state of the application window? Finally, is there extensive documentation on KDE? I have read through the documentation on the KDE website but require more information. Are there any searchable mailing lists dedicated to KDE? Thanks for the help :) -- Best regards, ditesh http://ditesh.cjb.net "Hands that help are holier than lips that pray." - Anonymous - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-newbie" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Please read the FAQ at http://www.linux-learn.org/faqs
