When I bought an electric car, I accepted that I was going to get
a lot of "long extension cord" jokes. Likewise, I expect most MS users to
be able to put up with a certain amount of smug ribbing about viruses,
crashes, and the BSOD from us linux users. I thought is was pretty funny
too.
