Ok its clear to me that the firewall is going to be a long term project :-/ One of the main reasons for having a firewall is that (i was told) It's easier to log data going through a firewall.. What I want is to Log data thats going to Mac addresses or even to IP addresses.. Any ideas on how to do that? I have messed around with IPTRAF a bit.. But it only seems to count visually and not log it in a log file.. also it doesn't like IPMASQ ...
