Depends somewhat on what kind of Internet connection you have. But in
general, the resources you want to consult are (all at www.linuxdoc.org) are:
Firewall HowTo
IP Masquerading HowTo
Ipchains HowTo (or Ipfwadm HowTo, if you're using kernel 2.0.x)
You may want to look for a HowTo specific to the kind of Internet connection
you have (PPP for dialup, or DSL, or Cable Modem).
Basically, you set one of the hosts as a router and the other as a client on
a (tiny, in your case) LAN.
