Kernel 2.0.x or 2.2.x? Is the LAN Masq'd or not? The answers are different
depending on which you are doing.
The answer Lawson posted looks about right for kernel 2.2.x with no Masq'ing
of the LAN. The main caution (unlike Lawson, I do do firewalls) is that you
have to pay attention to the *order* of the rules in the chain, so you may
need to "insert" the rule (put it in a specific place in the chain) rather
than "append" it (as Lawson's example does).
I'll go into more detail once I better understand which of the variants you
need to do.
