OK. Now I see. You are using ipchains (good), but your LAN is Masq'd (bad,
in this context). Simply accepting external packets destined for port 6122
(or whatever it was) won't work, because the masq'ing subsystem has no way
to figure out what internal address to unMasq them to if they are not a
response to outgoing traffic on the same port.

I assume that Diablo, like other games (Quake being the best-known example),
responds on different ports than the connections go out on. This is a big
problem for Masq'd LANs, and is why you see all those
ip_masq_some_service_name modules in ./net/ipv4/ . You're loading 5 of them
-- ftp, irc, quake, user (don't know what that one is) and raudio (Real
Audio) already.

Anyway ... the place to go for info on running "problem" apps throuugh
Masq'ing is URL http://www.tsmservices.com/masq/ . I checked there, and it
lists 2 versions of Diablo, with these solutions.

Diablo 1.07+

        ipmasqadm autofw -A -r tcp 6112 6112 -h www.xxx.yyy.zzz
        ipmasqadm autofw -A -r udp 6112 6112 -h www.xxx.yyy.zzz

[This is probably cleaner: (from starcraft)
        ipmasqadm autofw -A -r udp 6112 6112 -c tcp 6112 -seg
        ]

Diablo (battle.net)

        ipmasqadm autofw -A -r udp 6112 6112 -c tcp 116
                                                ^^^
        ipmasqadm autofw -A -r udp 6112 6112 -c tcp 118
                               ^^^

(Above is as quoted from the site, but I wouldn't be surprised if the two
bits I've underlined are reversed. This set came with this disclaimer: "Not
extensively tested (it seemed to work ok). I don't play the game but my
roommate didn't have any problems (apart from the higher lag time)".)

I don't know the game specifically, but I hope this is of some help.
