Stable version of Netscape

Hi Folks

Can someone please tell me what the most stable version of Netscape is. 
I am currently running running version 4.72 which crashes quite a lot. 
I am running this on Redhat 6.0.
What other alternatives are there for web browsers for Linux that have
the same functionality as Netscape?
