I am trying to install Mandrake Linux 7 (Air) i486 on a Compaq Deskpro
486/66m with 32MB RAM and 1MB AVGA Compaq EISA video card. The BIOS puts
the video memory at a 14MB location. When I start the install it completes
without errors and only sees 13MB of memory. When I start the install with
"mem=32M" it crashes with virtual memory exhausted. Is there a boot option
to tell Linux that there is video memory at 14-15MB with a total of 32MB of
memory or am I limited to 16MB of memory on a ISA/EISA bus.

Thanks
Jerry
