Hi,
I have run out of space on my Linux box. Now what i
want to do is some how shrink the windows partition and increase the linux
partition.
Now problem no. 1,
-->How do i format a partition on ext2fs to use
it under linux.
After that.. when i have formatted that partition
there are two choises.. either I make an extra directory like /mnt/NewPart
and put an entry in fstab where that partition is always mounted, or i can(if i
can , i dont know that) move one of my very heavily used directories like /home
to that partition. I know how to do the prior one (using fstab and making an
extra directory in /mnt/BlaBla or anywhere) but i dont know how to move any
of my exhisting directories and mount them on a new partition(if it is
possible).
So problem no. 2,
-->If we can move any of the
current directies on a new partition and mount that partition on
startup.
I would appreiciate if i get any help on
this,
