Have you tried Links? Or w3m? They are both text
browsers like Lynx but do a much better job of displaying
tables and such.

Perhaps this is a good place to mention that the alpha
version of Arachne has just been released. It's a
graphical browser that runs in SVGAlib from the console
or xterm. It has a VERY small footprint and runs happily
without X on an old 486 with 8meg RAM.
