First of all I want to apologize for any html in my first email. I had
just had a problem with my sister and was frustrated and I forgot that and
the subject line.

I also didn't fully explain my situation. I am about as much of a newbie
as you could be. So much in fact, that I decided to get a book and read
it thuroughly before I go any further and screw up something that I'm not
going to be able to fix.

So to answer your question I didn't type Netscape at a command prompt to
see if it was installed, but I did see any installation so I dont think it
was.

I'll give it a try though.

You did try the obvious and type netscape & at the command prompt to make
sure it is definitely not installed
