As whom are you logging in, most linux distor's do not allow root logins,
unless the system administrator has edited /etc/securetty and uncommented
or added remote tty's.
Or if you are really trying to login as a user and it still does not work,
your account may have expired, there is a stale /etc/.login or some word to
that effect, dam i cant think of it's proper name.
And of course Linux is case sensative but one would think you know that
anyway.
