These are the files packed by RAR archiever.
There exist versions for both Linux and Windows, which
are 100% compatible, so just check freshmeat.net or linux.tucows.com
AFAIK, it's included in some standard Linux Distributions.
BTW, I haven't looked into the matter, but Mindnight Commander
works just fine with RAR packages.
