i recently downloaded mozilla m16, and i love it... i find it far
superior to the stock netscape with redhat 6.2. ergo, i endeavored to
change the button (applet? i dunno) that normally loads netscape
communicator to load mozilla. mozilla requires me to go into a terminal,
change to its dir (/home/geoff/mozilla/package in this case), and then
type ./mozilla. that works beatifully. however, when i try to do the
same in the button (right click on it, properties) it does nothing. ive
tried

cd /home/geoff/mozilla/package ; ./mozilla (run in terminal mode)
Eterm -e "cd /home/geoff/mozilla/package ; ./mozilla" (normal mode)
/home/geoff/mozilla/package/mozilla (run in terminal mode)

none seem to work, and frankly im out of ideas. im running gnome, rh
6.2.
