But I had already tried to use ATX3, and it didn't work. Anyway, I tried
again, just to see if I had done anything the first time. I also tried X1
and X0.
When I pick up the phone, I hear a fast busy signal. That is only the
automatic transfer tone ringing. But the modem sees (or better - hear it)
as "no dialtone". If I dial to make a phone call, everything works. And as
I said, m$ windozzzzz connects perfectly fine.
I read the manual, but to no avail.
I was wondering that maybe it interprets the sound as busy, but why would
it say no dialtone?
I still have no idea which string I should use.
