In what respect do you mean connect to your web server.? do you mean on
your machine connect to your home-page ? or from a remote machine to
yours.?

The server needs to have a domainname mapped to its IP address so it is
seeable to the world, what sort of IP number do you have, a private
domainname in the range of 192.168.x.x  or 10.x.x.x,  a static IP address
with a registerd domaname, or a dynamic IP address.?

Please explain more.
