You can use gdb (debugger) cd to the directory where the "core" file is;
gdb -c core
It wo'nt tell you much but it should say which program is dumping core.


Now you were the chappie with a "cant find /home/cspielma" or something
simalar were'nt you,? i/we would be interested to hear more about your
problems.
