I have a Linux machine will a printer directly attached. I have setup a print spool on this machine and I am able to print to this printer from another Linux machine through lpr. I am trying to setup a Printer Connection from NT to this Linux machine. On the Linux machine I have samba running and everything looks correct on the Linux side. But when I try to setup a printer connection on the NT side it gives me a error " Could not connect to printer: Access denied". I have applied the patch that allows plaintext passwords. I just cannot figure how to make this work. Do I need to try to setup a lpr print session from the NT machine?
