Downloading, compiling, installing and configuring dosemu (a Linux DOS
emulator) seems a bit over the top to run just one program once that
may not even run under dosemu...
So, why don't you just find a friend with a DOS machine, sys your NIC
config disk,[1] and then boot your machine using the now bootable NIC
config disk, change your settings and reboot back into Linux.
Normally I wouldn't advocate rebooting a Linux box except for kernel
or hardware upgrades, but you want to run a single program once. I
think rebooting will be the easiest way. And besides, it is sort of a
hardware upgrade, sorta kinda... :-)
