i have redhat6.0 on a machine
tried to install apache 1.2.6
i installed 6.0 from cd, no upgrade. I tried to install apache from source
though, for practice.
after i ran the make, i received these errors
gcc -c -Iregex -O2 -DLINUX=2 alloc.c
In file included from /usr/include/sys/resource.h:25,
                 from conf.h:600,
                 from httpd.h:59,
                 from alloc.c:61:
/usr/include/bits/resource.h:125: conflicting types for `rlim_t'
conf.h:263: previous declaration of `rlim_t'
make: *** [alloc.o] Error 1

i am new to all of this and am wondering if someone could point me in the
right direction.
gcc version egcs-2.91.66
also, quick question
i see that libc.so.6 links to libc-2.1.1.so in /lib
i take it this means it is glibc?
thanks,
rob
