There are several options to do this. They all use the message command
in the smb.conf file. Do you want to recieve them in X, or at the
console? If in X, what window manager do you use? Here is the setup to
use KPopUp: (All one line.)
message command = csh -c 'setenv DISPLAY :0; /usr/local/kde/bin/KPopUp
%s %f %t &;';
