Muchas gracias por sus repuestas , hernan y christiam gracias por el dato pero ubuntu no se puede instalar en le hardware que tengo , como dice miguel rabi y aafm , la yellowdog 3.1 es la que se asemeja a mi hardware OLD WORLD .

Pero... creo que tu Mac es lo que se llama Old world y para ese tipo de mac solo puedes usar la Yellowdog 3.1 (equivale a un Red Hat 8...)
