Saludos a todos, mi consulta es la siguiente quiero realizar una instalación de centos 3.6 en un servidor HP de 2 gb de memoria y tiene tres discos duros SCSI de 72, 146 y 146 GB. Antes de proceder con la instalacion se configuro los discos de tal manera que los discos grandes se unieron como un volumen, teniendo como resultado
un disco de 72 y 292 gbs cada uno.
Mi problema es cuando inserto el disco 1, pero luego de transcurrir o pasar dos ventanas me da el siguiente mensaje:
The partition table on /dev/cciss/c0d1 is insconsistent. The are many reasons why this might be the case. However, the most likely reason is that Linux detected the bios geometry for /dev/cciss/c0d1 incorrectly. GNU Parted suspects the real geometry should be 8854/255/63 not 17433/255/32. You should check with your BIOS firts, as this may not be correct. You can inform Linux by adding the parameter
ccciss/c0d1=8854,255,63 to the command line. See the lilo or grub documentation for more information. If you think parteds suggested geometry is correct, you may select ignore to continue (and fix linux later) otherwise select cancel (and for linux and/or the bios now).
Alguien podria darme una idea de que es lo que debo hacer en este caso.
