Many thanks for your comprehensive answer, I learned some new stuff today *S*

As for Dell chiming in on this, I agree. Dell ?

I have recently bought a T605 for private use, which does not support entity
8.1. The same goes for a fairly new PE2900III here a work. So perhaps memory
temp. readings are not entirely reliable yet?
