Hello,

I've put together a script that will take the Dell repos and populate
them into child channels on an RHN Satellite server, then subscribe any
Dell systems to the correct channel. The script can be scheduled as a
cron job and run periodically to capture any new rpms from
linux.dell.com, and subscribe any new systems that have been added. As
this is an early version, I only have the script posted. I will be
creating an rpm and adding features as time permits.

I've tested this with RHN Satellite 5.3, but it should work with
Spacewalk. I'd appreciate any feedback on tested versions if anyone can
do that.

The supported base channels are RHEL 4 and 5, i386 and x86_64. It would
be trivial to add additional base channel support, which is documented
at the top of the script.

For the Dell systems to execute remote actions, they need to be
subscribed to "rhn-tools", have the "rhncfg-actions" rpm installed, and
allow remote actions (this can be accomplished with "rhn-actions-control
--enable-run"). Also, if they have access, installing "osad" on the
systems will greatly speed-up their response to remote actions.

I hope this will be useful, and welcome anyone to join the community
project and provide patches, suggestions, etc.
