I have SLES10 running on x6xx, x7xx, x8xx, x9xx and R710 servers. Blades too. No problems with megaraid_sas at all. USB I can't tell - I am a server admin and so hesitate to rely on USB. If you really have a problem with SLES10 on Dell, post a bug report on bugzilla.novell.com, and you will earn the competence of the SUSE team.
