Let me clarify my question. What is the best way to replace the Java distribution included with the Openmanage software with the latest from Sun? I ask because there are JAR files present in the Openmanage software which are not present in the JRE distro from Sun.

Second: There is more to Java than just .jar files - there are lots of .so etc. JAR files actually rarely contain security issues, it's mostly the binaries which make up the JVM.
