This is something that bugs me about Dell desktop PCs, I asked their ProSupport people about it but they didn't have any ideas either. The best way I have come up with is to hit F12 to do a PXE boot which will display the MAC address on the screen. Looks like the PowerEdge machines display this in the BIOS though which is one up from the desktop machines.
