Hi all, Just wanted to see if anyone has some experiences with or opinions on multipathd? Specifically, has anyone used multipathd on systems with only one HBA?
I know it doesn't add any value, but for sake of simplicity I could use the same configuration for both bare metal severs and VMs. I think mpio would abstract from disks and simply yield a multipath-aware device, whether there are actually 2+ paths to it or not. Telling users to access device over those logical mpio paths would only take some getting used to (for data LUNs) but offer the same interface across all (type of) servers. Any opinions?
