This is a long-standing bug in DUP, and i'm not sure if DUP is leveraged here, but .... Dell at least needs to switchover to using TMPDIR or something so end-users can at least work-around the bug, but i suspect noone at Dell is allocated the development time to fix that. Those of us who would like to use noexec on /tmp seem to be a minority, and there are certainly other things that seem to require the ability to create temporary executed scripts in /tmp (logrotate, IIRC, being a showstopper for me) --stephen -- Stephen Dowdy - Systems Administrator - NCAR/RAL 303.497.2869 - [email protected] - http://www.ral.ucar.edu/~sdowdy/ _______________________________________________ Linux-PowerEdge mailing list [email protected] https://lists.us.dell.com/mailman/listinfo/linux-poweredge Please read the FAQ at http://lists.us.dell.com/faq
