This has been one of my major complaints when I'm going to find something on the Dell ordering website.. The only time you see a feature is when you build a server cart or if you already know what you're looking for, when you dig for a somewhat hidden manual. There's nothing on the website that clearly explains "this is what you want, this is how it compares to other features/parts, and this is how to make it work.".
Openmanage is a good example of this... The website for it is horrible.
