Hello Todd, thanks a lot. but when this system is a dedicated mailfilter and gateway. when I try to install omsa it wants to install exim and many other mail components. how can I work around this, because mail is already functioning (postfix wich comes with puremessage of sophos) this was the project I mentioned of inventing the wheel again.. :-( and I really don't want to break this config by putting exim on the system.
Anyone have maybe a clue how to work around this, or should I just install without the dependencies like exim? regards, Arno Op vrijdag 05-03-2010 om 18:49 uur [tijdzone -0600], schreef Todd LaPittus: > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA1 > > Check here: > > http://linux.dell.com/debian_9g.shtml > > //Todd > > Support @ Technologist wrote: > > hello, > > > > tired of inventing the wheel again (something I've done during the last > > weeks due lousy support and documentation). > > I was wondering if someone already did get the openmanage at the debian. > > > > For centos/redhat I saw there is a repository.. > > > > is there one for debian too?? > > > > Has anybody a handout/howto or just some tips. > > > > the system is quite bear. so at least the list of dependencies would be > > nice.. > > > > Thanks in advance.. > > > > Regards, > > > > Arno > > > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- > Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) > Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org > > iEYEARECAAYFAkuRpqUACgkQldcaKkbcJyAeYQCfaxk+9w7YBTC8fl8rgGRP5M/k > 4wsAoKVlMj9LuiimcGDnRrXdp6kV7jXa > =yiDm > -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- > -- Arno van der Veen +386 31 629 556 wwww.technologist.si _______________________________________________ Linux-PowerEdge mailing list [email protected] https://lists.us.dell.com/mailman/listinfo/linux-poweredge Please read the FAQ at http://lists.us.dell.com/faq
