OMSA 6.2 is known for having these problems.. I still don't understand
why Dell won't comment on it. Search the list archives for possible
"solutions," or roll back to OMSA 6.1, which is what we have done across
the board.

"Sometimes upgrades don't work as well" just is not an acceptable
excuse.

Subject: RE: PERC 6/i and OMSA RPM repository?

I would try using the OpenManage tar file from the CD / website or
uninstall and reinstall. If it was an upgrade from a previous version
of OpenManage, sometimes upgrades don't work as well.

Subject: PERC 6/i and OMSA RPM repository?

Hello,

I installed OMSA 6.2 on an R610 from the repository. However, I believe
PERC 6 drivers are not installed as I get:

[r...@endor ~]# omreport storage controller
No controllers found

Do I need to uninstall it and install from DVD?

TIA...
