For LCD commands we check the version of the board, if it is 11G IPmitool sends a different command and for 9G and 10G the commands are different, SO if the ipmitool used is an older one or if the we are not getting the version info from iDRAC correctly, it will not work on 11G. Please update with the latest ipmitool and confirm.
