-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, I guess this is a quite common question... and that it's probably somewhere in the docs but I couldn't find the info I was searching for.
I've 51 Poweredge 1855 into 6 racks. from what I understand all nodes have an IPMI 1.0 module and each rack has a DRAC5 interface. It seems the DRAC somehow lost their configuration since I joined the project (my predecessor who left the building did the install/configuration). I'm at a point where I can't reach the DRAC (they seem to have no IP, not even the default one). I'm trying to get to configure them using a serial console (with a serial to usb cable on a node) from what I can find in the docs: baudrate 57600 / No Parity / 1 stop bit. which translates to: stty -F /dev/ttyUSB0 57600 cs8 -cstopb when trying a screen /dev/ttyUSB0 57600, all I get is junk (non human readable characters) I tried rebooting the whole rack system but It didn't got any better. I'm sorry for the stupid questions but I'm at loss here, how can I reach those DRAC? thanks in advance, guillaume ranquet. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.15 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJMSFdjAAoJEEzIl7PMEAli3s0H/jHL2q/6+RyxlpGuj7fim3UX C8pUiQB1DV/Rzemzg1OrG9wdIQxkLfX5bS6t88iCQkO5bULSupZK7KZR0bFo4oql trAlKYgXvQoPw2JBMUidascofU/wHELlVnKMPwO4aimcgPHOStbO5XPS061LpFcS TpFhUgH02K4CqWRExYefWCpF6ZcR3vAPbSKtupWRiZvvCN1XsbpnB7ogrymF3zTN QQwiQ04Pd7sNwN2kRk+V0sClcp3U1O3vQxpE8Dwh2S84vg5b+s0bg5tWo2ITdsjL FZL1eH0iySGpPKVyYzi0inf4yEeEu4C7SysTiBH9MH8My2UjvcQaz87S4J3M5cs= =pxER -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
