As we've migrated out of older servers, we've been "collecting" piles of
old SCSI hot-swappable hard drives and I'd now like to see if any of
them can be put back into service.

I've got the Dell 32-bit Diag utilities running on an old 2550 so we can
test a bunch of Atlas SCSI drives. I can put four drives in at one time,
and the Dell diags will let me select all the drives and start a
confidence test, but that requires someone (me) to sit in front of the
test system and wait to press the OK button part way through each test
to allow it to continue.

Can anyone point me toward a better solution for testing the drives?
I've got about 25 of them and would rather say "go" on the diag and just
come back in a few hours to see the results. We're going to wipe all
these disks clean, so protecting data on them isn't important. I just
want to make sure that before we put a drive back in service, we're
reasonably confident that the media is in good shape.

Thanks,

Steve
