Good day. I'm trying to sync only rh50_64 for hardware per710 from OMSA_6.3 into Satellite 5.3. I get the files, but there is never a channel created. The syntax I used was: # dell_satellite_sync.py -u myadminname -s rhnsat-test.sedata.com -r http://linux.dell.com/repo/hardware/OMSA_6.3 -l /mnt/gossamer/dell-omsa -f -o per710 -S --rhel5-only
My only base channel is RHEL v5 for 64-bit, and under it are a test channel I created, Red Hat Network Tools for RHEL Server, and RHEL Supplementary. The user I utilized is able to create channels and I have used it to push RPMs as well. I downloaded version 0.4 of dell-satellite-sync.py from the git site, dated 2009-11-10. I can supply the output from running the command with either "-v" or "--debug". My Satellite server is running RHEL 5.5. I'd be glad for someone to tell me what I'm doing wrong or point me in the right direction.
