Jon,

Try limiting the repo definition to a specific OMSA version. For Trusty, you
can install v74 or v83. So in your repo definition file:

deb http://linux.dell.com/repo/community/ubuntu trusty openmanage/740

or

deb http://linux.dell.com/repo/community/ubuntu trusty openmanage/830

You can also use the meta package srvadmin-all for both v740 and v830 if you'd
like to install all available packages.

Subject: [Linux-PowerEdge] broken dependencies in ubuntu repository

I have 7.4.0-1 of the srvadmin tools installed. I noticed that there was a new
version today (8.3.0) and tried to upgrade. I got the error below.
It appears that there is a problem with the dependencies of the packages.
Uninstalling everything and trying to just install
srvadmin-idrac7 results in the same error.

I'm using the following line to get the packages:
deb http://linux.dell.com/repo/community/ubuntu trusty openmanage

Errors were encountered while processing:
 /var/cache/apt/archives/srvadmin-hapi_8.3.0-1_amd64.deb
