Hello, Our EL7 machines get about 5000 messages per day saying:
ipmi_si ipmi_si.0: Could not set the global enables: 0xcc. The OpenIPMI developers say: "Some BMCs don't let you clear the receive irq bit in the global enables. This is kind of silly, but they give an error if you try to clear it." Ubuntu 16.04LTS (and other distros with kernel >4.0 or a backported patch) say: "The BMC does not support clearing the recv irq bit, compensating, but the BMC needs to be fixed."
