Hi , I just installed the July DSU update on my PowerEdge T710 running RHEL 6.8. I ran the dsu command and found that it wanted to update the firmware on my four on-board Broadcom network interface:
[*]13 NetXtreme II BCM5709 Gigabit Ethernet rev 20 (em4) Current Version : 7.12.19 Upgrade to : 08.07.25 I selected this update and told dsu to commit. It failed with the following error message: Enter your choice : c Installing Network_Firmware_WR5R5_LN_08.07.25_A00-00... Collecting inventory... ./qldup_inv: error while loading shared libraries: libvmkmgmt.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Inventory collection failed. Network_Firmware_WR5R5_LN_08.07.25_A00-00 could not be installed A find on the system did not locate a libvmkmgmt.so file. The same version of DSU ran fine on my PowerEdge T320 running the same version of RHEL. Any clues on what I need to do to get my update installed?
