You didn't state your platform. I'm using RHEL6.8. IIRC, DSU is not officially supported on the PE 2950.
That said, you can install it (at least, on RHEL6.8). I'm currently a revision behind with OMSA 8.3.0. Note, however, the "dsu" program itself does not work. It runs, but it reports " This Platform is not supported.".
