I updated to the latest dsu on tuesday and that seems to have cured the
problem

[root@sci ~]# rpm -qa --last | grep dell
dell-system-update-1.4.1-17.04.00.x86_64 Tue 25 Apr 2017 07:12:46
IST

[root@sci ~]# dsu --version
Dell System Update 1.4.1
Copyright (C) 2014 Dell Proprietary.

[root@sci ~]# rpm -qa | grep srvad | sort | more
srvadmin-all-8.5.0-2372.10488.el7.x86_64
...

[root@sci ~]# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda3 16G 12G 4.1G 75% /
devtmpfs 7.8G 0 7.8G 0% /dev
