I'm sure this is not the advice you were hoping for, probably not even
advice that is welcome, but I think it's wise.

I don't know for you guys, but when we have a problem on a hardware part (regardless of the brand of the server), we have almost a 50 % chance that the support will ask for a firmware upgrade before taking any action. So ...
