One of my new PE-R730xd servers got a firmware update from the dsu installation (my script runs it to make sure everything's right.)
It updated the "Backplane Expander FW" from 3.31 to 3.35 and my machine turned into a brick. I'm just putting it out there for others. I've been on the phone with Dell and they're sending me a replacement Backplane (assuming it will be Rev 3.31) to fix the problem. However, the guy I spoke to said he'd pass the problem up the line so the folks handling the firmware updates will be notified.
