of server configuration, scripts, and imaging. Multiple boot media disks are no 
longer required as you can now have them embedded on vFlash partitions"

You can keep your installation and diagnostic media (e.g. Dell Support Live 
Image) on it and forget about local media, virtual media and netboot 
environments.
Very handy for remotely managing and supporting solitary servers over slow 
links. Worth the penny.

The only downside I've seen is that the partition size is limited to 4GB while 
some full OS installation DVDs nowadays exceed that.
